San Donato Milanese. The 2024 edition of the Island Festival has just ended, an experiential event that allowed its guests to experience unique days of nature, music and activities to discover the island of Pantelleria.

“Rethink The Future Ritual” was the requirement in this edition of the Island Festival, with the aim of rewriting a better idea of ​​the future and precisely in this context, MINI inserted itself as the sustainability partner of the event, to present a new family of electric products.

Over 300 event participants tested the new electric MINI Cooper and the first electric MINI Countryman among plains, mountains, palm trees, dammus, discovering magnificent coves, thanks to the MINI Discovering Experience.

And since MINI’s specialty has always been to offer new perspectives, thanks to the MINI New Horizons Experience in Pantelleria lagolden, the moment was even more magical as visitors could see the sunset from a completely new perspective, 20 meters above sea level thanks to the MINI hot air balloon.

Starting with a ritual where the participants take part in the creation of a magical set, these days full of experiences to discover the beauty of the island and in the name of physical and mental well-being, ending in two of the most exciting places on the island, Sesiventi and Altamarea, where DJs by international artists performed each night – including Floating Points, John Talabot, Moxie, Bradley Zero and Toy Tonics, igniting the energy of the festival with the strength of the music.

The Island Festival 2024 aimed to create a positive impact with special attention to environmental sustainability.

In this context, MINI has chosen to leave a water house on the island created in collaboration with Pantelleria National Park, which will provide water at room temperature at a strategic location on the island, and has given aluminum bottles to the public for this purpose. increase awareness of sustainability and reduce plastic use.

Over 1000 enthusiastic participants thronged the island of Pantelleria during the event.
