Munich. With its all-electric drive, progressive crossover proportions and innovative digital functions, the MINI Aceman is a breath of fresh air in the premium compact car segment. As the MINI Aceman SE (power consumption combined according to WLTP: 14.7-14.0 kWh/100km, CO2 emissions combined: 0 g/km, CO2 class: A, range according to WLTP: 384-405), it delivers 160 kW / 218 hp and 330 Nm of torque. This means that the Aceman accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. With a range of 405 kilometres in the WLTP test cycle, the MINI Aceman SE is also perfectly equipped for trips beyond the city limits.
The brand’s typical Direct Steering emphasises agile and dynamic driving behaviour, while innovative driver assistance systems support steering and lane keeping and contribute to a confident driving experience in the MINI Aceman. The Parking Assistant Professional recognises available parking spaces even more precisely and, if required, takes over the entire parking process automatically for even more convenience.
A high-voltage battery with 54.2 kWh of energy supplies the efficient electric motor and can be charged with up to 95 kW direct current at fast-charging stations, meaning just under 30 minutes is enough to increase the battery capacity from 10 percent to 80 percent. 11 kW of power is available via alternating current.
Very compact and charismatic.
Thanks to its extremely short overhangs, the MINI Aceman is particularly maneuverable and agile in city traffic. The classic triptych is reinterpreted in three parts: body, surrounding window graphic and roof. The flat transition between the body and glass surfaces and the flush-integrated door openers optimise aerodynamics and increase the driving range.
The crossover model is available in four different trims. In combination with the model-specific colour Level Red, the progressive design of the Favored trim looks particularly impressive. The Jet Black roof and mirror caps provide high-contrast accents. Together with its rugged contours and sporty stance, the MINI Aceman exudes a confident presence.
The absolutely unique selling point of the MINI Aceman are its strikingly shaped wheel arches with their long, pulled-back profile and steep rake. With standard roof rails and a folding trailer hitch, visually highlighted wheels in sizes from 17″ to 19″ and underrun protection at the front, rear and sides of the vehicle, the MINI Aceman demonstrates versatility and a spirit of adventure.
An interior with purist design and modern driving comfort.
The MINI Aceman’s scaled-down cockpit references inventor Sir Alec Issigonis’ classic Mini. A high-resolution central OLED display and the distinctive toggle switch bar below it offer driver and passenger comfort and freedom of movement. The modern design language is continued in the curved dashboard, which is covered in knitted material. In Favourite trim, petrol-coloured textile with an orange gradient extends to the inside of the doors. Dark petrol-coloured Bessines sports seats with accent stitching are also available.
Comfortable dimensions in the shoulder area and comfortable legroom give the bright cockpit an open, spacious feel. The panoramic glass roof supports this effect with even more light from above. Three passengers can be accommodated in the spacious space at the rear of the vehicle. The rear seatbacks can be folded down in a 60:40 ratio, allowing the luggage compartment volume to be expanded from 300 litres to a maximum of 1,005 litres if required.
Innovative technology delivers a new driving experience.
240mm diameter OLED display with high-quality glass surface. All driving functions can be intuitively controlled by touch or voice via the central instrument. In the upper display area, the driver can always see the speed and remaining battery power. Navigation, media, phone and climate menu items can be selected directly in the lower area of the display at any time.
With the emotional MINI Experience Mode, the interior of the MINI Aceman can be enhanced with an immersive user experience. Depending on the Experience Mode selected, two projector units project special light graphics onto the dashboard. The ambient lighting throughout the interior is also adapted accordingly. The newly created MINI Driving Sound enhances the experience of fully electric mobility.
Advanced assistance systems for relaxed driving.
The Driving Assistant Plus adds a steering and lane assistant for lateral guidance to the MINI Aceman. Comfortable, coordinated steering helps the driver stay on track. The increased comfort offered by the system combines relaxed and good control of the vehicle while freeing the driver from the more monotonous and less demanding aspects of driving. The standard Trailer Assistant helps with parking with a trailer and provides information on the required steering wheel rotation angle when reversing.
Twelve ultrasonic sensors and four surround view cameras support the automated parking process in the MINI Aceman. The new remote parking function of the optional Parking Assistant Professional makes it possible to park the vehicle using a smartphone. With this function, the MINI Aceman will pull out of the parking space automatically, making parking easier when there is not enough space to the side.
For a convenient, personalised vehicle experience, the smartphone is the key and car sharing is made easy: with the innovative MINI Digital Key Plus option, the front and rear lights start projecting a welcome message and the doors unlock automatically as soon as the driver approaches within three metres. The digital key can be transferred to several users and replaces the traditional handover of a vehicle key.
The MINI Aceman SE will be available in Germany from autumn starting at €38,900.00 (gross).
