A feast for the senses for those with gasoline in their blood
If you love speed, cars and the smell of hot motor oil, the Goodwood Festival of Speed will bring tears to your eyes. This year’s special PS party will return to the southern English town from 11 July 2024, putting petrol in the blood of visitors once again. For four days, the fan community will celebrate old and modern sports, racing cars, motorcycles and even planes. But that’s not all! The festival is gradually transforming into a salon of new products, including electrical and everyday items. Under the motto “From Horseless to Hybrid: A Revolution in Power”, manufacturers are presenting models that bring 130 years of mobile progress to life. M.G. Goodwood is also celebrating its 100th anniversary with the launch of an electric roadster Cybuster And the hybrid SUV HS. BMW It will use the stage to unveil a host of new products and facelifts, including new models. X3.

Goodwood Festival ticket prices
Ticket prices for the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed start at £40 (approx. €47, all prices as of June 2024) for a grandstand seat for the hill climb, traditionally the highlight of the event. Parking will also cost at least €47 per day. But the price structure varies. If you want to be cooked by a Michelin-starred “chef” at the Surtees Pavilion, you’ll have to pay £2,750 (approx. €3,240) per person. Be aware that there are a limited number of tickets and that some events require a strict dress code. If you’re not interested in 1940s, 1950s, or 1960s style, stay away.
Hill climb highlights programme at Goodwood
Nevertheless, up to 150,000 pilgrims are expected to make the pilgrimage through the rural countryside each day. There’s plenty to see, including special exhibitions, a Concours d’Elegance and the famous paddock, where Le Mans racers take centre stage alongside historic and current F1 cars. There’s no shortage of action, either: mountain races, drift-khanas and a rally course through the forest are on the programme, as well as an impressive air show and many other events.
