LEF concludes the successful course 2023/2024 – InFinance

The LEF Foundation welcomed 233 new guest teachers into the classroom last school year. in That represents a growth of no less than 65%. Together, the 551 volunteers with LEF gave guest lectures to more than 10,000 students in 116 different vocational secondary education institutions throughout the Netherlands.

The LEF Foundation ends the 2023/2024 school year happy and satisfied. “Many thanks to all the people, companies and organizations that made this possible with money and/or by making their employees available. A special thank you to the 551 people who volunteer to achieve a common goal: to ensure that MBO students have more control over their money and don’t struggle financially.

With the summer holidays just around the corner, the new school year 2024/2025 is fast approaching. For this, the LEF Foundation still needs a number of new sponsors. Guest teachers

“When I look at the passion that our guest teachers have in front of the classroom, I dare say that they are not just a group of enthusiasts; they are agents of change who believe in the power of knowledge over money,” says Nathan Brouwer, president of the LEF Foundation.

“LEF brings the classroom and the real world together with stories that matter. We make financial education not only accessible and interesting, but also indispensable for all MBO students. Because when you learn how to use money wisely, you open the door to a future full of possibilities. And that’s why at LEF we’ve been doing what we’ve been doing for more than 15 years. Our passionate guest teachers make every lesson an adventure. Because let’s face it, learning about money has never been more fun and important than it is now. Do you feel driven and would like to ‘give it forward’? Sign up as a guest teacher!”
