Fleet insurer Zego will collaborate with DriverLinQ – InFinance

Zego, insurtech specializing in fleet insurance solutions, is celebrating a strategic partnership with DriverLinQ.

Thanks to this collaboration, Zego customers can now choose an optional module that actively helps customers with damage prevention. Not as a one-time action, but as a continuous process. With the introduction of Zego Consultancy, customers who need additional support in the field of damage prevention can now opt for an additional package.

360° approach

Sander Kernkamp, Managing Director of Zego Nederland: “Many of our customers already have telematics in their vehicles, such as taxi on-board computers and handheld scanners. This allows you to get a lot of valuable information about the use of the vehicles inside of the fleet. When this data is analyzed and used effectively, the burden of complaints can be significantly reduced. At Zego Consultancy we use a 360° approach where we not only examine the behavior of drivers, but also specifically analyze all others processes within the fleet. Our specialists help our customers on a monthly basis to monitor and reduce structural damage, so they are always guaranteed the best results.”

Chain approach

Max Tönis, co-founder of DriverLinQ: “Responsible and damage-free driving only works if you normalize this in your company. That’s why we use a chain approach focused on culture, policy, data and technology. We help entrepreneurs implement improvements in the process of hiring, onboarding, training and coaching drivers, and providing information on driving behavior and providing feedback We also offer practical advice on better journey planning, promoting prevention in your company, training mentors, reward programs and vehicles well equipped with cameras and sensors. What you pay attention to grows, and success lies in implementation.”

Integrated services for customer convenience

Damage prevention requires ongoing effort. This is why damage prevention specialists will have monthly contact with the customer. By analyzing data from telematics sources and combining it with detailed damage information from the Zego Fleet Portal, trends, patterns and improvements can be identified. Based on this, specific actions are taken and implemented.

Risk management data

For customers who wish, risk management data and reports can be integrated into Zego’s fleet portal. Quarterly meetings with risk and claims management specialists can also be arranged for a comprehensive approach. All of this is completely optional and is intended to provide Zego customers with additional convenience and support should the need arise.
