Apple Design Awards 2024, all the winners of the best games and apps




Apple has announced the names of the annual winners Apple Design Awards, rewards 14 apps and as many games. The names, from around the world, were chosen for their exceptional technical skills, design talent and ability to innovate. “This year’s winners have shown that apps enable engaging and exciting experiences, and we’re thrilled to honor their work and ingenuity at WWDC 2024“, explained Susan PrescottApple’s Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations.

To win for the Apps, Croutons -developed by Devin Davies (New Zealand) – which offers users a simple way to save recipes, create shopping lists and follow the preparation of dishes step by step.

To win for the Game, Rytmoss – developed by Floppy Club (Denmark) – a real challenge to solve puzzles by creating paths through simple drag gestures, and after completing each level, a new element is added to an evolving song.

Social impact

To win for the Apps, Softer Streak Fitness Tracker – developed by Gentler Stories (Slovenia) – which aims to improve each person’s lifestyle, using motivational and optimistic reminders, which take into account both physical fitness and mental well-being.

To win for the Game, The wreck – developed by The Pixel Hunt (France) – which follows the story of Junon, a writer who suddenly has to go to the hospital to make a decision that will change her life and have a strong impact on her family.

To win for the Apps, Rooms – developed by Things, Inc. (United States) – a blank sheet of paper on which to draw imaginative scenes, a platform for fun games, and a social space where you can interact with thousands of other users’ creations.

To win for the Game, Lies of P -developed by NEOWIZ (South Korea) – a fantasy adventure reimagining a classic fairy tale in which a robot doll created by Geppetto must survive a battle in a troubled city to find its creator.

Spatial computers

To win for the Apps, djay pro – DJ App & AI Mixer – developed by algoriddim GmbH (Germany) – a completely new way of interacting with music in a spatial environment. It offers high-definition sound and endless mixing possibilities thanks to extraordinary technical ingenuity and total immersion in the sonic world.

Game, Black box – developed by Shapes and Stories (United States) – challenges users to look at space from every angle. At every step, the user is accompanied by intriguing puzzles and cleverly hidden Easter eggs.
